<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En este artículo se analiza la robustez de las conclusiones de tres recientes estimaciones de funciones de exportación e importación españolas. Se analizan los artículos de Buisán y Gordo (1994), Domenech y Taguas (1996) y Mauleón y Sastre (1994). Se concluye que no suelen mejorar las especificaciones originales al añadir los elementos sugeridos en los otros trabajos. En términos de predicción se obtiene que es más fácil predecir bien las importaciones que las exportaciones. De los tres trabajos analizados el que mejor predice el comportamiento del sector exterior desde 1993 a 1995 es el de Domenech y Taguas (1996).</abstract>
