<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Este artículo cuantifica las aportaciones de distintos grupos de hogares a la evolución de la tasa de ahorro agregada en España entre 2007 y 2016. En el contexto de la última crisis, de mayor incertidumbre y con un deterioro notable del mercado laboral, los resultados muestran una reducción de los gastos de ciertos hogares durante la recesión y una posterior expansión al inicio de la fase de recuperación que son acordes con la hipótesis del ahorro por motivo precaución</abstract>
