<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El pasado 14 de octubre de 2019 se conoció que el premio del Banco de Suecia de Ciencias Económicas, en Memoria de Alfred Nobel, sería este año para Esther Duflo, Abhijit Binayak Banerjee y Michael Kremer, por sus estudios sobre la reducción de la pobreza, con los que han contribuido a desarrollar políticas e incentivos para ayudar a los hogares más pobres. En el presente trabajo se estudiarán sus vidas profesionales, sus trabajos y los méritos que les han llevado a alcanzar el Premio Nobel, sobre todo sus aportaciones en aras de reducir la pobreza en el mundo.</abstract>
