The paper provides an overview of design considerations to be addressed in the issuance and usage of wholesale CBDCs (wCBDCs) (see section 3), and some capital market use cases (see section 4) regarding how wCBDCs might be deployed in wholesale payments, security settlements, and cross-border foreign exchange (FX) transactions. There is recognition that the adoption of wCBDCs could enhance the efficiency, resilience and effectiveness of money flows and capital markets</dc:description>
