<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Los vehículos que incorporan motorizaciones diésel están sufriendo un importante descenso de ventas y muchos fabricantes dejan de incorporar dichas mecánicas en muchas gamas de sus vehículos, por lo que es complicado encontrar vehículos con estas motorizaciones en los segmentos A y B. Según la DGT, las ventas de vehículos diésel en el 2022 representaron el 22 % respecto al 55 % de los modelos de gasolina, al 31 % de los híbridos, al 6 % de los híbridos enchufables y al 3 % de los vehículos eléctricos.
