<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: This article analyses how multigenerational family complexity influences the risk of divorce at later life stages (age 60+) in Sweden. Using extensive Swedish population register data, the study examines couples' configurations involving joint children, stepchildren and stepgrandchildren across two and three generations. The results show that couples with only joint children or grandchildren have the lowest divorce risk, while stepfamily complexity significantly increases instability. Gendered patterns and marital duration are also shown to shape late-life divorce risks</dc:description>
