<abstract>En Marzo de 1997 tuvieron lugar en la Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya las primeras "Jornadas sobre Investigación en Plaguicidas" en las que se presentaron diversos trabajos y se celebró la reunión semestral del grupo. En esta reunión se dabatió la conveniencia de articular un sistema de transferencia del estado actual de conocimientos que aglutinase los diferentes aspectos del amplio campo de los plaguicidas. </abstract>
