<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The report analyses Spain's progress towards the Digital Decade 2026, highlighting strengths such as advanced connectivity, digital public services and a digitally literate population. However, challenges remain regarding the adoption of advanced technologies by businesses, particularly cloud computing, and the low proportion of ICT specialists. Spain is participating in strategic European projects such as those on semiconductors, quantum computing and EuroHPC. The country is allocating significant funds to digitalisation through the Recovery and Cohesion Plan. Recommendations are set out to boost the adoption of AI, cloud computing and data analytics; strengthen the semiconductor industry; develop quantum technologies; enhance cybersecurity; increase the number of ICT specialists; and reduce regional disparities in digital service
