<abstract>Este trabajo analiza los factores que explican el bajo nivel de bancarización de los inmigrantes latinoamericanos en Estados Unidos. Los factores ligados a la oferta de servicios financieros y el contexto regulatorio son los que principalmente explican el problema de la baja bancarización de inmigrantes en Estados Unidos. Los factores ligados a la demanda, como la falta de educación financiera, aunque son relevantes, se consideran menos importantes, ya que no explican el diferencial existente en la bancarización de los inmigrantes latinoamericanos en Estados Unidos y otros países como España</abstract>
