<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En el presente artículo se exponen las diferentes micosis producidas por infecciones de hongos, los cuales afectan a las capas superficiales de la piel y que pueden dar lugar a patologías serias en caso de individuos con un sistema inmunitario debilitado o sometido a tratamientos de antibióticos masivos o a consumo de drogas, etc. Se describen las siguientes micosis: pie de atleta, tiña de las manos, onicomicosis, tiña inguinal o eczema marginado de hebra, tiña corporis, candidiasis, pitiriasis versicolor. También se incluyen unos consejos a seguir para prevenir la aparición o recaida de micosis, así como diagnosis y tratamiento médico</abstract>
