<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Sur 100 accidents du travail survenant à Rungis, 35 concernent le secteur viande. C'est ce qu'a permis d'établier une étude réalisée en 1980 à partir de 1700 déclarations d'accidents. L'enquête menée par la Direction régionale de l'emploi a été entreprise pour mieux cerner les principaux risques et servir de base à l'action du Comité interentreprise d'hygiène et de sécurité qui compte déjà a son actif plusieurs réalisations facilitant la manuntention et améliorant l'hygiène dans le secteur des viandes</abstract>
