<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Les gants en latex sont à l'heure actuelle responsables de très nombreux cas d'urticaire de contact de nature immunologique. La mise au point d'une urticaire de contact aux gants en latex comporte une série d'étapes qu'il convient de respecter afin de dépister l'ensemble des cas tout en n'exposant pas les patients aux risques de réactions trop importantes. Les urticaires de contact au latex s'observent principalement avec les gants dits chirurgicaux, c'est-à-dire des gants fins utilisés pour les soins de santé; dès lors, les professions á risque correspondent avant tout au personnel médical et paramédical. Néanmois, on observe aussi des urticaires de contact aux gants de ménage, mais moins fréquemment</abstract>
