Pour limiter les risques d'accidents de trajet qui guettent les usagers de la route empruntant les mêmes voies de circulation que les betteravières, la sécurité routière des départements de l'Aisne, l'Oise et la Somme mène, depuis 1989, une action coordonnée auprès des planteurs et des transporteurs de betteraves, qui touche aussi les enfants et les habitants des communes concernées</abstract>
