<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Une enquête sur 54 accidents, dus à des systèmes automatisés, survenus entre 1983 et 1988, a été menée par questionaire fermé. L'analyse qualitative des données recuillies permet d'en estimer la fréquence et d'en déterminer la gènese et les caractéristiques. Les auteurs concluent q'un système bien conçu, bien installé et bien entretenu aurait contribué à la prévention de l'accident et rappellent les différents points à passer en revue lors de l'évaluation d'une telle protection</abstract>
