Sumario: The present study evaluated acute changes in the lung function of shipyard painters relative to the use of epoxy paints. The null hypotesis tested was that no cross workshift decrement in forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV) in painters exposed to epoxy resin paints existed compared with a non-exposed group of painters
