<subfield code="a">The use of penetration curve parameters for prediction of service times of respirator adsorbent filters under conditions of high relative humidity has been investigated and the value of the technique under these conditions has been demonstrated. Furthermore, it has been shown that the equilibrium adsorption capacity of on adsorbent filter under these conditions can be mathematically expressed by the Langmuir equation. A simple and rapid method for measuring the equilibrium adsorption capacity of an adsorbent filter at low sorbate concentrations has been introduced. The test substance used was triethylamine</subfield>
