Sumario: From time to time we are asked to measure concentrations of airborne asbestos fibres and we do this by carrying out appropriate air-sampling and then sending the filters to a commercial laboratory for a fibre count. It has compared the results reported by several commercial laboratories in respect of similar air samples taken in our own laboratory/office area at County Hall
