MAP20071017378Vincent, James H.On the quantitative definition of the inhalability of airborne dust / J.H. Vincent and L. ArmbrusterSumario: The authors believe that, as a basis for static sampling of airborne dust in the workplace in order to assess the various sub-fractions of inhaled dust particles which are deposited in the regions of the lung, it is desirable to start from a quantitative working definition of inhalability. In view of the wide general agreement obtained in independent inhalability experiments at their respective laboratories, such a definition can be confidently stated for particles with aerodynamic diameter up to 100 microm. The recommended definition is embodied in a curveEn: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 2, 1981 ; p. 245-2481. Higiene industrial. 2. Contaminación atmosférica. 3.
