<subfield code="a">A range of biochemical tests has been made on 40 volunteers from among workers who had been employed in the manufacture of pentachlorophenol and its sodium salt, also on a group who had some contact with the process but were not regularly exposed, and on a volunteer control group who had no exposure. Despite its many limitations, the study lends some support to observations reported elsewhere on the relationsship between exposure to chlorodibenzodioxins, development of chloroacne and minor disturbance of lipid metabolism</subfield>
