<subfield code="a">In this paper, it presents an aerosol-based technique for the dynamic generation of controlled hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) atmospheres in an experimental chamber at twice the current HDI-specific hygienic limit value level of 70 microg m exp(-3) (0.01 ppm). This approach offers advantages ove the earlier technical sprays generators as it allows more precise control of the vapour concentration and no concurrent solvent or prepolymer exposure in clinical provocation tests or in the evaluation of sampling procedures</subfield>
