Sumario: As health care equipment increases both in number and in complexity the electrical safety of patient, staff, and general public becomes more specialized. The critical care patient may have many individual electrical devices connected to him at the same time. The general care patient will also be periodically connected to electrical equipment as part of routine procedures.
