<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: This study reverted to a more typical regimen employed for purposes of aerobic training. Spinal responses to circuit weight-training using a combination of free-weights, weight-training machines and unresisted truncal exercises have not previously been investigated. Two studies were designed to: assess the intensity of exercise during a typical circuit weight-training regimen by examining the physiological and perceptual responses to performances of three consecutive circuits, and determine how these responses varied between circuits; study the physical responses to circuit weight-training, using spinal shrinkage as an index of spinal loading, and relate the physical to the physiological and perceptual responses</dc:description>
