Sumario: Formaldehyde is a major component in the resins used to treatfabrics for shrink-resistant and crease characteristics. Residual formaldehyde on fabrics can lead to significant formaldehyde exposures in cut and sew plants. An initial evaluation was conducted of formaldehyde exposures in a sewing plant using fabrics with a postcure resin. This study illustrates an example of the application of process modification in order to achieve control
