Sumario: A hydraulically adjustable chair with seven independent variables - seat heigh, seat angle, seat rocking, seat swivel, back-rest distance, back rest heigh and back-rest angle - was constructed to evaluate comfort and biomechanical factors relevant to the design of a chair for industrial sewing operations.
