<abstract displayLabel="Summary">During the performance of a manual positioning task weight displacements on the sets of chairs have been recorded. They show a clear individual pattern with similar characteristics on subsequent experimental sessions. In order to avoid restrictions of mobility these individual characteristics have to be taken into consideration for seat and workstation design</abstract>
