<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La ergonomía está empezando a ocupar un lugar preponderante en las refinerías. Los profesionales de prevención de accidentes y salud están examinando los métodos de trabajo a fin de establecer si éstos pueden mejorarse desde el punto de vista de la ergonomía. En dos refinerías se trabajó con éxito para aliviar a algunos de los elementos más peligrosos de la tarea: la compañía Mobil Oil y la compañía Phillips Petroleum</abstract>
