<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Cadarache est au coeur du plus important projet de recherche en sûreté nucléaire actuellement poursuivi dans le monde. Il s'agit du Programme Phébus-PF (pour produits de fission) conduit par L'Institut de Protection et de Sûreté Nucléaire (IPSN). Phébus est aussi le nom du réacteur utilisé pour les six expérimentations prévues dans le cadre de ce programme. D'ores et déjà, l'analyse du déroulement de la première de ces expérimentations s'avère riche d'enseignements. L'objectif général de ce programme est d'avoir une meilleure connaissance du comportement des éléments radioactifs (produits de fission) qui se dégageraient en cas d'accident grave par fusion du coeur d'un réacteur nucléaire à eau sous pression</abstract>
