<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Les auteurs dressent un bilan des études consacrées aux méthodes d'évaluation de la résistance au glissement des sols piétonniers. Ils discutent des critères utilisés jusqu'alors, et tentent d'en dégager les exigences essentielles pour une uniformisation des méthodes à l'échelle européenne; en effet, la diversité des méthodes actuelles entraîne des classements de sols différents, voire contradictoires, ce qui peut entraîner des erreurs dans les propositions concernant la prévention des chutes par glissades</abstract>
