<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: Two factors contribute to the toxicological effect of this skin exposure. One is the rate of permeation of the solvent through the skin and the other is the intrinsic toxicity of the permeating material. If dermal toxicity is to be fully understood, it is necessary that both of these factors be investigated. It was the purpose of this study to investigate the first of these two factors. The goal was to determine an appropriate method for measuring permeability and to use it to determine the steady state permeation rate of several commercial solvents through living human skin</dc:description>
