<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La definición de enfermedad profesional no es científica, sino legal. La legislación recoge listas de enfermedades y compensaciones por los daños que puedan producir. En nuestro país existe una lista de 41 patologías, o grupos de ellos, promulgadas en 1987. Sin embargo, la evolución de las enfermedades profesionales es la misma que en cualquier país desarrollado y en ella han influido notablemente las nuevas formas de organización del trabajo, junto con problemas que vienen arrastrándose desde hace siglos</abstract>
