<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Hoy en día, el proceso de certificación en la industria se ha convertido en una exigencia ineludible y en una oportunidad y ventaja competitiva para acudir a nuevos mercados. Aunque la experiencia de su implantación entre las ingenierías es muy limitada, los beneficios que se obtienen con la certificación según las Normas de la Serie 9000 de la International Organization for Standarization (ISO) son ampliamente conocidos y suficientemente cuantificables. En este informe se explican los principales pasos a seguir en el proceso de certificación de las Normas de la Serie ISO en las ingenierías y las importantes ventajas que se obtienen con su implantación</abstract>
