Título: An Empirical approach for deriving information on total duration of exposure from information on historical exposure / Paul S. Price... [et al.]
Notas: Sumario: Duration of exposure is a parameter in long-term dose rate equations used in evaluating the risks of the chronic effects of chemicals. Duration of exposure varies greatly from individual to individual and is a major contributing factor to the interindividual variation in long-term dose rates. For example, an angler catching and consuming fish at a specified rate for 20 years will have twice the life time average daily dose as an angler consuming fish at the same rate but only for 10 years. This paper presents an empirical modeling approach that takes advantage of the ability of modern spreadsheet software to quickly solve systems of algebraic equationsRegistros relacionados: En: Risk analysis : an international journal. - New York and London : Society for Risk Analysis. - Vol. 18, nº 5, October 1998 ; p. 611-619Materia / lugar / evento: Evaluación de riesgos Análisis de riesgos Modelos matemáticos Contaminación del agua Contaminantes químicos Pesca Pescado Toxicología Otros autores: Price, Paul S.
