<abstract>Tanto empleados como supervisores deben cumplir tres requisitos esenciales: conocer cúal es su responsabilidad; saber qué autoridad ostentan; y comprender que la gerencia espera que rindan cuentas con respecto a los resultados. Estos requisitos se aplican a todas las áreas del ámbito de trabajo pero este artículo se centra concretamente en la prevención de accidentes y, para ello, se deben tomar en cuenta la forma en que estos tres requisitos se aplican a los empleados y supervisores de línea</abstract>
