Examples are taken from United Kingdom and general European experiences . It discusses the similarities and differences between RA and LCA in decision making and examines the criticisms that have been leveled at use of RA and LCA in public-sector decision making; It is concluded that a five point policy research agenda can be defined that will benefit from cross fertilitation of ideas and experiences between RA and LCA specialist</subfield>
