<abstract>Durante las últimas décadas se ha ido desarrollando un complejo entramado de instituciones que regulan el sistema financiero internacional. Sus normas afectan a todos los sectores del sistema financiero y, por regla general, no tienen carácter vinculante aunque ejercen un gran poder de persuasión. El artículo pretende ofrecer un esquema de las principales instituciones dedicadas a la coordinación internacional de la regulación del sistema financiero </abstract>
