<abstract>Optimizar imágenes de huellas dactilares consiste en minimizar fotográficamente las diferencias existentes entre el rastro y el soporte sobre el que aparecen, y así facilitar el empleo criminalístico de las imágenes. Este ensayo muestra cómo los sistemas digitales superan al viejo sistema fotoquímico cuando las huellas evidenciadas con reveladores acromáticos asientan sobre superficies multicolor</abstract>
