The objetive the SOLEX (French acruym for SOL-soil exposition-exposure) study was to evaluate the predictions of different multimedia models. With reference to the results of urinary 1-HOP assays performed among employees working on well-characterized PAH-polluted soils in the retting of former gaswork sites.
