<abstract>Un total de 2.488 policías, 125 sanitarios, 259 bomberos, así como 150 psicólogos, entre otros efectivos participaron en el dispositivo que el Ayuntamiento de Madrid activó para rescatar y socorrer a las víctimas de los brutales atentados terroristas del 11-M. Así se desprende del Balance de Actuación de los Servicios Municipales donde se señala , además, que se activaron todas las instalaciones de los servicios funerarios, el tanatorio de la M-30 y el tanatorio Sur, así como las del cementerio de la Almudena y una flota de 150 vehículos para atender a la totalidad de los traslados. El ayuntamiento comenzó el mismo día 11 de marzo los trabajos de reparación de las 120 viviendas afectadas por las explosiones</abstract>
