<abstract>El artículo intenta dibujar el panorama de la relación entre el sistema financiero y el de los medios de comunicación de masas. Con este objetivo, el trabajo analiza algunos cambios recientes en la prensa financiera española, que cabe achacar a la sucesión de casos financieros producidos durante los años 2001 y 2002. Finalmente, se argumenta que la supervivencia de ambos sistemas, financiero y de medios de comunicación depende de sus vinculaciones y, paradójicamente, sus distancias</abstract>
