Polyurethanes have many industrial applications. They are used in the manufacture of car paints, flexible foams for bedding, rigid foams for insulation, adhesives, and other commercial goods. In particular polyurethane coatings containing HDI-homopolymer-based activators have several outstanding technical features, such as durability, color stability, resistance to abrasion and chemicals and a high resistance to temperature or weather extremes
