<abstract>La industria de alta tecnología se caracteriza por una rápida renovación de sus bases de conocimiento y por la diversidad de recursos y capacidades complementarios necesarios para alimentar sus procesos de innovación. De manera independiente, es dificil que las empresas (especialmente pymes) posean la combinación completa de tales activos, por lo que dependen del acceso a fuentes externas de recursos. Este estudio destaca el importante papel que juegan la localización en clusters tecnológicos, y la dinámica de cooperación que conlleva, para atraer nuevos factores que demandan los procesos de innovación</abstract>
