<abstract>Los incendios forestales en España son un problema estructural ligado a la acumulación de combustible vegetal en el monte, la ocupación humana del territorio y el uso del fuego que realiza la sociedad. En la actualidad la gestion forestal y territorial debe tener necesariamente presentes las condiciones naturales y sociológicas que producen riesgo de incendio y establecer una política preventiva de incendios con el fin de reducir su número y acondicionar el espacio forestal para optimizar la prevención</abstract>
