<abstract>El baremo de tráfico español ha seguido una fórmula en los últimos seis años que no ha recibido demasiadas críticas, y ha sido manejado sin mayor complicacion por los peritos médicos. Además, se emplea frecuentemente en otros ramos del seguro, de los que cabe destacar el de accidentes individuales y responsabilidad civil profesional de médico; sin embargo, las condiciones del perjudicado (casi siempre un enfermo), la necesidad de demostrar la responsabilidad del presunto culpable y la amplitud de los siniestros que se pueden reclamar hacen que el baremo de tráfico no pueda ser más que una herramient limitada para estas situaciones</abstract>
