<abstract>El Gobierno aprobó el pasado 23 de junio el Sexto Plan General de Residuos Radiactivos, el "documento maestro", que describe y expone las actividades de ENRESA en todos sus campos. Una ENRESA, reconvertida en entidad pública empresarial adscrita al Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio afrontará en los próximos años, retos como la puesta en marcha de un Almacén Temporal Centralizado para el combustilble gastado y los residuos de alta actividad generados en España, o el desmantelamiento total de las centrales nucleares que cumplan su vida útil. El coste futuro que expone el nuevo plan está próximo a los 10.000 millones de euros, que se recaudarán a través de un sistema de financiación puesto en marcha el año pasado</abstract>
