<abstract>La investigación y recuperación de suelos contaminados comprende, desde una perspectiva general, una gran cantidad de tipos de trabajos desarrollados en una gran variedad de lugares. En todos estos trabajos debe garantizarse una protección eficaz en materia de seguridad y salud en el trabajo. La posible existencia de sustancias peligrosas no controladas en los emplazamientos en los que se realizan los trabajos de investigación o recuperación marca un claro carácter diferenciador desde el punto de vista de la prevención de riesgos laborales.</abstract>
