<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Debido a los problemas que suscita la circulación de vehículos en los núcleos urbanos, se ha hecho preciso en todas las grandes capitales multiplicar las vías de circulación con el fin de resolver los conflictos que presentan determinados nudos o puntos que por su situación, al constituir encrucijadas, o por su proximidad a vías de particulares características, tales como accesos de circulación rápida, zonas comerciales, de oficinas, etc... agravan los problemas de su entorno.</abstract>
