<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El presente artículo analiza el problema del aseguramiento de los daños y de la responsabilidad civil por presencia adventicia de transgénicos en cultivos y productos ajenos. Para ello se expone la situación regulatoria de los transgénicos en la Unión Europea y en España, el principio de coexistencia entre cultivos transgénicos y otro tipo de cultivos, los eventuales daños que se derivan de la presencia adventicia de transgénicos y la responsabilidad civil a la que estos daños pueden dar lugar. A continuación se examina la viabilidad del aseguramiento de esos daños y de esa responsabilidad civil. </abstract>
