<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El deber empresarial establece que el empresario tiene que proteger eficazmente al trabajador para garantizar la seguridad y salud en todos los aspectos relacionados con el trabajo, así lo recoge el artículo 14 de la LPRL. A estos efectos, esta figura realizará la prevención de los riesgos laborales mediante la integración de la actividad preventiva en la empresa y deberá adoptar las medidas necesarias para garantizar esa protección y establecer la obligación de cumplir con las la normativa que existe referente al tema. De este modo algunas sentencias estiman que habría así un deber genérico de seguridad en el artículo anteriormente citado, y que no bastaría solo con cumplir lo puramente legal, sino que el empresario estaría obligado a adoptar cuantas medidas fuesen necesarias, se encuentren o no contempladas en una norma concreta.</abstract>
