<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En octubre de 2011, el Instituto de Prevención, Salud y Medio Ambiente de la Fundación Mapfre publicó un estudio sobre las víctimas de incendios ocurridos en España durante el año 2010. Este estudio se realizó con la colaboración de la Asociación Profesional de Técnicos de Bomberos (APTB), y se elaboró a partir de los datos obtenidos por los distintos Servicios de Bomberos del Estado. El objetivo del mismo es contribuir a tener una visión más cercana de la realidad de los incendios en nuestro país, para orientar las políticas de prevención hacia donde más se necesiten, de forma que se puedan evitar o reducir. </abstract>
