<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The insurance industry could score points among the young generation. Scenarios are being used by the Chartered Insurance Institute to enlighten the minds of the next generation about insurance and tempt them into joining the sector. One recent afternoon, I was privileged to be invited to observe. Waiting expectantly for the 'show' to begin, I felt almost like one of the other children seated in the Insurance Hall of the CII's ornate headquarters. The group of 13 and 14-year-olds from St Paul's Academy in Greenwich, London, had been brought here by their careers adviser and other teachers to learn about insurance, as part of their career-focused expedition into the capital's financial ser vices sector.</abstract>
